Way overdue (but short) update
I know I've not said much lately, and I'm sorry. I just didnt' feel like I had much to write about. i've been doing stuff, I just didnt' know how to explain it all. But I'll give it a stab. Sorry it's in bullet points, but at least I'm updating!
- Went to Alton Towers, near Nottingham, for a work get together. All eleven offices. I've got photos up on my flickr account, but it's for friends only, so if you've not been added to that let me know. I've got links on my website to various flickr photos but I have to update it. Man I'm slack. But if you hunt around you should be able to find it. www.gladmossen.com is the website link.
- After Alton Towers I went in to Nottingham and caught up with Megan. That was good fun, and I have photos, but I've lost my sd card. Not permenanlty, but it's in a box. All will be explained in a couple of points time.
- I went to Holland to visit Seher. She was meant to come back to Scotland with me (I bought her a ticket for her birthday) but she wasn't allowed, so that was a bummer. Still we had fun. I have photos, but they're on my sd card. I'll upload them when I find it.
- I've moved! A few weeks ago I got a text from one of my flatmates saying she was moving out, so that meant I had to find somewhere else to live (I didn't really feel like staying where I was and going through the drama of finding new flat mates blah blah blah). So now I live in Leith, which is down on the water, but still in Edinburgh. Instead of being able to walk to work I get the bus, but my flat mates (three of the four that I've met) are great. James (Canada), Susana (Spain) and Shaun (Scotland) are great fun. Mark (Scotland) I've not met yet, although I've lived there two weeks. But he works long hours and so on. I'm sure I'll meet him eventually.
- My niece is going to be coming over to the UK in May next year, which is fantastic. Her grandmother is bringing her over and I'm so looking forward to seeing her!
- The best news? As I write this, my parents are currently flying over to see me. They'll land at Heathrow at 5 past 5 tomorrow morning, and I'll meet up with them on Friday in Nottingham, and then we travel around and stuff, before they head home on 9th January. I can't wait!
