Johnny sat on the couch with his head in his hands. "Kathy-"
"Shut up!" she snapped, slamming her suitcase shut. "I don't want to hear any more of your lies."
"Baby, please-"
"No. No more, Johnny. It's over." She marched to the door, only to find her way suddenly blocked by Johnny, who had leapt across the room. He grabbed her arms, and she jerked away. "Don't touch me!"
"Give me a chance. I can make it right, I swear!"
"You lied to me. You can't make that right." Kathy barreled past him and down the hall, leaving Johnny to look after her.
