“Is it over yet?” Amadeus whispered to Hercules, doing his best to hold back a yawn. Athena had been chanting and doing a lot of mystical type mumbo jumbo for the last three hours (to Amadeus, it felt way longer, but his watch assured him that it had only been three), and his legs had fallen asleep. He really wanted to get up and stretch, but he knew if he did that, Athena would throw something at him. She’d told him she would, before this had started.
“Shh,” Hercules hissed. “If we interrupt her, she’ll just have to start all over again.”
Amadeus felt a shudder of horror run through him. He shifted his weight in an effort to get more comfortable, and tried not to fall asleep.
