Summary: Chronos is thinking. He’s also enjoying his swivel chair, but that’s besides the point.
Chronos spun around in the swiveling, rolling chair set up in front of the computer, spinning it around a few times before stopping in front of the computer. He loved computers - such an excellent tool for causing chaos. And there was Mine Sweeper. He loved Mine Sweeper.
He spun the chair around again, then tapped enter on the keyboard. The file was already highlighted, so it came right up.
The problem was, he was facing off against a group that, as long as they were united, he could not defeat them. Killing them had thus far proven a futile effort. Out-waiting them was just… dull (and he had had enough of dull, thank you), so that left subverting one of the mortals.
Normally, he would have pegged Odie as the easiest one to take; the ones who thought themselves the cleverest often were. But Chronos could not trust that any turn the human might make - he’d fooled the god once, but never again.
Herry was too thick to subvert, Atlanta too certain. Jay had a certain fanaticism that would make him difficult, though Chronos found something appealing about making the mortal his cup bearer. Neil was too self absorbed, and Archie was too… oddly invulnerable. Each of them could be brought down with work, but there was one that would be much, much easier.
The witch girl, Theresa.
The thought brought a smile to the old god.
