Summary: In which Billy is turned into a vampire. You can lay the blame for this on both Lady Gaga and crisart.
In all honest, Eli didn't think having Billy in the Lair was a good idea at the moment, but it wasn't like they were swimming in options. He watched Billy, never taking his eyes off the young mage he had long considered his friend; doing that would probably mean, at the very least, a nasty beating. Billy stayed right where he was, tied to the chair, both hands and legs secured and a gag in his mouth. He was also very, very shirtless, and there was something subtly disturbing about the way Billy kept his back arched, a cold, alien gleam in his eye as he watched Eli right back. It was more like something had taken Billy's body and was wearing it like a suit. It looked like Billy, but in so many small, disturbing ways it wasn't.
"It's still bleeding," Teddy announced quietly, pulling his hand away from his neck long enough for Eli to get a good look at the rather nasty wound Billy had left behind. There was blood on Teddy's hand from where it had seeped through the gauze he'd put in place. Eli swore softly, and Teddy put some fresh gauze in place over the wound. "Okay, Eli, what do we do?"
Eli studied Billy. He could just see the tips of his fangs around the gag, and he could swear that the vampire was smirking.
"We'll think of something," Eli said, though he didn't entirely believe himself.
