Kurogane made a thoughtful noise as he considered his life of late, thinking over all the strange twists and turns it had taken since Tomoyo-hime had set him off on this long, strange adventures.
Finally, speaking to no one but the universe at large, he asked, “Is no one I know what they seem? Do I know anyone who isn’t a clone, or hasn’t been subverted, or how isn’t a pork bun?”
The universe gave him no answer, but he hadn’t expected one, either.
