"Molly, what have you got there?" Karolina asked as the little girl stuffed something into her pocket. Molly hesitated a moment, then pulled out Gert's glasses. "Oh, honey...” Karolina reached out and pulled Molly into a hug, stroking the young mutant's hair.
"S'okay," Molly mumbled into her shoulder. "She's in Heaven now. The 'frog said so."
Karolina refrained from pointing out that the Leapfrog was just a machine, and probably didn't have the capacity to understand theological concepts like the afterlife. Knowing the Steins, it probably did. "I know, honey. I just miss her so much..."
"Bet she's an angel by now," Molly said. "She'd be a good angel."
"Yeah."
"She'd probably dye her wings to match her hair."
Karolina chuckled. "Oh yea. And she'd definatly wear combat boots."
