For a long time, Paige seriously thought about keeping her diary on the computer, especially after it was stolen. At least the school mainframe was unlikely to go walking off… unless it accidentally developed sentience or something like that.
But she knew that the problem with keeping a diary on the computer was that it would be way too easy for anyone to read it, even if she password protected it. God knew if she encrypted it, Ms. Frost would have someone come in to crack it open before she could blink. What that stupid thief had read to Angelo and Jubilee had been bad enough; they still teased her about it. God help her if anyone saw the other things she’d written down.
