Lyja tapped her fingers on the door, shifting the bundle of clothes to the crook of her elbow. “Spider-Girl? Are you finding everything you need?”
“Yeah, thanks Mrs. Storm.”
“I brought some clothes. I’m afraid your uniform is thoroughly trashed.” The Skrull made a face as the memory of the smell that had been coming off Spider-Girl when she had arrived, battered, bruised, and with Torus in tow.
She’d never been so glad to see anyone, even anyone that smelled like that.
The door opened slightly, just enough for Lyja to get a look and the pretty young brunette on the other side. A child, really, not that much older than her own son. “Thanks,” she said, taking the clothes. “Is Torus alright?”
“He’s delirious with joy over the fact that you two had a team-up, and is unlikely to let you leave any time soon.”
