William Kaplan looked at Victor Borkowski over the tops of his glasses before pushing them back up his nose, bringing the world back into focus. “You want me to teach? Here?”
Victor steepled his fingers and smiled at the wizard. “We’ve got three reality warpers in the student body, Billy. They need someone like you to teach them what they need to know.”
“Nobody calls me Billy anymore, Vic. You’ve been out of touch way too long.”
Victor laughed quietly. “I’ve been building my legacy,” he said. “Something solid to show for my time here. Wanna help?”
