“I can hear the Jaws theme playing,” Jay said, only half teasing as he watched Victor as he picked out a stick from the rack on the wall. The reptilian teenager rolled his eyes and sighed softly.
“Just because you stink at pool…”
“I do not,” Jay insisted. “You’re a pool shark, you just won’t admit it. I saw you fleece Josh out of his pocket money. I’m surprised you don’t have your own custom made stick.”
“You watch way too many movies, Jay. You gonna play or not?”
