Daemon was surprised to find himself cornered by Zeke and asked if he knew any spells.
“What?”
“Spells. Magic. Say you wanted to keep someone trapped in a room. Someone who could phase through walls. Like Illyana.”
“And here I was under the impression that you didn’t like girls.”
“It’s not for me, it’s for Lucy. Well, it’s kind of for me. If I have to put up with them and their refusal to admit their feelings, I’m going to crack.” He raked his hands through his hair. “So, can you help me?”
“Sadly, no. But perhaps Ambrose may be of some assistance,” the half-demon suggested. At Zeke’s puzzled look, he added, “His family is infamous for its magical talents. I’m sure he could find someone to help you with your project.”

“Absolutely not. Not only is it a stupid idea, it’s illegal! It’s kidnapping, Zeke!”
“They’re driving me around the bend, Puppy. I’m gonna go totally stark raving mad if this keeps up.”
“So use your powers on them.”
Zeke shook his head. “That way lies supervillainy and ugly costumes.”
“And kidnapping two girls until they make out isn’t supervillain behavior. Riiight.”
