The camera shattered easily under the pressure of Julian’s power as he held the other boy - some guy he couldn’t even put a name to - against the wall. “Normally, I wouldn’t give a damn,” he said conversationally, letting the bits of camera fall to the ground. “But Sooraya is a Hellion. That means that you’re going to respect her privacy, which means you are not going to try and take pictures of her while she’s in her room. Got me?”

The kid nodded frantically, his legs kicking in the air.

“Great. And you’ll make sure it gets around that anyone else who tries this is gonna get their camera shoved into one of their body’s seven natural openings before being hung up on the flag pole, okay? Good.”
