Summary: Auggie isn’t too impressed with the Prince of Atlantis.
“They’ve been circling each other for over an hour now,” Auggie Barton-Christian murmured to his cousin Esme, watching Cera’al as she spoke to the Atlantian prince. The son of Namor had apparently decided that the Skrull princess was the only interesting person attending the fete celebrating the opening of the Atlantian Embassy, and either Cera’al was too polite to tell him to shove off, or she was genuinely interested in whatever it was that Octavian had to say.
Auggie wasn’t sure which it was.
“Maybe it’s because their skin’s the same color,” Esme suggested with a small shrug. “Or it could be some snobby royalty thing.”
“Hey, we’re snobby royalty too,” Auggie argued. “I can be snobby, and God knows you can be snobby, and we’re her cousins.”
“Whatever, Auggie. I’m going to see if there’s any more of that dip left.”
