Victor honestly didn’t know what he might get out of this. Mostly, he was humoring is parents and Ms. Moonstar. Somehow, he suspected that his parents weren’t going to give him the opportunity to bolt again. So he was sitting in a room in Camp Hammond, wondering just what was going to go wrong this time.

This place was making his skin crawl.

He looked up sharply as the room’s single door opened, both hands clutching the edge of the table. It was heavy, but he could throw it if he needed to.

The boy who stepped in couldn’t have been any older than Victor, in spite of the dark three piece suit he wore. His black hair hung in his face, and he hand a haunted look about him. “Victor Borkowski? Or would you prefer I called you Anole?”

“Whatever you like,” Victor said warily.

“Victor, I’m Trauma. Ms. Moonstar wanted me to talk to you. I think I can help.”
