:-D

Out of pure, mutton-less curiosity, was there another point to this other than the awesomeness that is Billy geeking out?

Billy geeking out is pretty much the only reason for this.

I have no idea what he's talking about. XD; I wish I still had my anti-time travel icon.

Is this one of those epiphanies people have when they're trying to sleep that you masterfully crafted into a a work of fiction? Like "Ishmael" or "Sophie's World"? Because I totally enjoyed this and I concur.

Actually, I've been trying to figure out how what happened with Iron Lad COULD have happened with what we've previously of Marvel time travel. I've been working on this for... ages, really.

Cause it makes sense. Iron Lad killing Kang if he was the Kang post-Avengers would not cause a past-present fluctuation. Kang's non-existence would only cause trouble if he never fought the Avengers, meaning the one who died would have to be pre- or early-Avengers.

However, another anomaly exists in that Iron Lad's departure from his rightful timeline causes Kang to not exist and perhaps the only reason why the situation is exacerbated when confronted by Kang is because fighting/killing him cements the idea that Nate will NEVER become Kang.
