“So, that’s them?” Karolina asked, holding the little hologram projector in the palm of her hand. Xavin just nodded, watching the slightly transparent image flicker above the little picture.
“They look very… um.” She struggled for a word to describe the two Skrulls that had born and raised Xavin. Xavin reached over, turning the projector off and putting it away. Karolina liked to think she could read her girlfriend’s face like an open book, but there was no interpreting the expression on her face now.
