“Hm? Oh, that would be the Guthries. Sam’s family. The oldest girl, Paige, will be joining us here after the break. I thought it would be nice for the whole family to spend Christmas here.”
“Do you really think there aren’t enough children here already?”

“Saaaaaam, make Joshua stop picking on me!”
“Fly me, fly me, Sammy! Whooooosh!”
“Melody, stop trying to climb your brother. Despite what you may think, he is not a tree, and he is not going to fly you everywhere. Joshua, you leave your sister alone. Paige, get out of the car.” Lucinda Guthrie said rapidly, trying to get the gum out of her youngest child’s hair.
Sam struggled to remove Melody from his legs, then went to help with the luggage.
It was going to be a long holiday.
