If Topher had known how things were going to go, he would have waited until he was at least eighteen before becoming a vampire.
Sure, eternal youth was great… but having to have a thrall or two to be his parents was a pain in the ass. When he was turned, all a person had needed was money, and they could get any door opened to them. Now, looking as young as he did… it was irritating.
At the rate things were going, in a few decades he wasn’t going to be able to do anything fun.
