Summary: She's good with the old ways.
Akira Rei stood very still on the catwalk, watching the creature moving down below. Carefully, she drew back the old bow, sighting along the arrow. The undead thing sniffed at the air as if hunting for her scent (which it likely was), but it never looked up. She waited until the creature paused, bent nearly double, then loosed the arrow and watched it drive into the creature’s back with a muffled thump.
Again, she waited, watching the wooden shaft quiver in the heart of the corpse. It only worked if the hit got them right in the heart, and that was tricky.
Thirty minutes later, and the thing still didn’t move. Rei allowed herself a small smile as she picked up the gas can and started the climb down to the floor.
Let others be reliant upon their guns.
