Bobby Drake’s skin was always slightly chilly to the touch, like he had just come inside after being out in a winter’s day. Sam didn’t notice it that much anymore, except when Bobby touched him unexpectedly.
Sometimes, Sam suspected Bobby did it just to watch him jump. He’d seen him turn the air around other kids freezing cold to get the same reaction. But Sam was the one he’d put his hands on to get that jump.
Not that Sam objected to being touched by Bobby. It was just… he didn’t want it to be just to make him jump.
