“Someone up there really hates me,” Victor muttered to himself as he climbed over the fence. He dropped to the grass and looked up to find that staring at him through the window of the house was a young child of indeterminate sex, who took one look at him and screeched, “Mommy! There’s a naked man in the yard!”
Victor swore under his breath and took off running, leaping the fence again. He was back on the street, and he heard someone on a front porch shout, “Whoo-hoo! Naked guy!”
Victor groaned and resumed his run.
