Bobby liked to sleep in the middle of the bed. When he slept alone, this presented no problem.
When he slept with Sam in the same bed, it could be. Sam was a cuddler, a twitcher, and he rolled over a lot. This usually resulted in Bobby waking up several times a night in new and uncomfortable positions that often involved Sam’s knee in his stomach. One time in resulted in both boys being rolled off the bed.
Part of the problem was that it was a twin bed. There really wasn’t enough room for both Bobby and the lanky Kentuckian. While Bobby was perfectly happy to have as much physical contact with Sam as possible, they couldn’t occupy the same space.
