“Don’t touch it,” the sand-nin growled warningly.
“Man, you are paranoid,” Kiba growled back, running a hand soothingly down Akamaru’s back. “I wasn’t gonna touch it.”
“Good. Then you won’t mind stepping away from the fire.”
“But I’m cold.”
“You shouldn’t have lost your coat, then.”
“Do you have to be so mean?” Kiba asked, cuddling with his dog.
“Yes,” Kankuro replied after a moment’s thought. “Yes I do.”
