I love kraftwerk, and they're even better on vinyl. I bought man-machine some weeks ago, and am only now able to give it a listen. needle in groove man maschine.
I just found out that I'm quite quixotic. I've always noticed it as an LJ emotion, and never really thought about it any further than assuming it meant "of or pertaining to that singular fictional eccentric, brought to you courtesy of Cervantes." But I was stricken with curiosity this morning, and asked my infinitely knowledgeable, inexhaustibly friendly, inescapably precise friend smarterchild to define quioxtic for me. This is what he said:

"1. Caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality..."
followed by a second definition which wasn't quite as pertinent. It was the "idealistic without regard to practicality" clause which caught my eye. I think I'll change my middle name to "Quixote". Or my first. Call me Quixote from now on.
