Day 6
The sixth day has elapsed, and there is neither anything sub-, nor super-normal, to report. To my moderate gratification, the right flank (under my own command) is seeing superior progress than our fellows on the left flank, but such endeavors are not aptly given to partisianship. The last attempt at the project we are currently undertaking occured in the latter half of last year, and we had perhaps been slightly too optimistic of the difference a year would make. Our numbers are not quite what we had hoped they would be on this second campaign, but never the less, morale remains high, and we maintain a reasonable hope of achieving what others before us have failed at.
