I AM PUFFIN. HEAR ME ROAR.
Yeah so my 'Wildlife' crew and I have decided that I am a migratory puffin from the maritimes. idk. Because I was born there and I eat 'til I'm stuffed so that I can't fly-err, move?
Anyway so yes I've been gone on my last field trip of my entire program this past week. It was kind of very unorganized, and we did SO MUCH stuff that the week seemed SO MUCH LONGER THAN IT ACTUALLY WAS but overall it was fun :) I became the best of friends with a group of sea rays we caught <3 Yes they were friendly/curious enough to actually poke their adorable little faces out of the water to get pet, yee~~
Um so yeah we did a LOT. Visiting various fishery-related things, marine biology-ing, studying crap... COLLECTING SEA CREATURES. Oh and whale watching <3 And at the end of the week we had to split up into 10 stations (i.e. partner up) to make up a 10 minute presentation for a group of school children. ... Me 'n my partner did ours on SEA SPONGES. We made our own SpongeBob mascot. Fufufu. ANYway yeah doing that presentation 10 frikkin' times was exhausti-fying but I SURVIVED and apparently the kids loved ours (I overheard them >:3 ) and our profs said that ours was faaantastic because we were so enthousiastic the ENTIRE way through. Yeah. With sponges. Thaaaat's right~ \o/
... I thought of more things to say but now I forget then (as usual)... hm. Maybe I'll edit/add/whatever later. Now I must nom. 'cause I'm hungry and i have work soon. 1-10 shift right after a week of field work ftl D:
