Otakuthon '09!

Otakuthon - our local little convention here in Montreal.

I went to it 2 years ago. It kinda... was disappointing. This year, however, was a big improvement.

First off. It was held at an actual congress centre instead of a university. Much better choice, fo'sho. Also, it was a lot more organized and 'professional' I guess you could say; which is probably a product of it being held at a highly superior venue. There wasn't that much in regards to cosplay, though; nothing particularly stood out, except a Deku Link, and Oogie Boogie. Oh yeah and there was WW!Ganondorf. He was pretty epic, actually XD

The dealer's room was much less cramped than last time too, and definitely more dealers/artists. Speaking of; I'm proud of myself. Only spent 41$ total!! I got myself a Crisis Core!Cloud figure, and at artist alley a Four Swords poster of epic cuteness, and a Book 3! Zuko postcard-sized thing.

OH. And there was a Q & A with PIKMIN LINK. My cosplay-hero!! Some of the questions people asked were ridiculously retarded though (from the look on her face I'm pretty sure she thought so too omg).

We didn't do much aside from that. I would've liked to have gone to the Papercraft/Origami workshops (yay arts 'n crafts!) but I had to be back home in time for supper yesterday. Boo.

Oh. And I cosplayed Kyou from Fruits Basket. My friend was Tohru. We were awesome together kthnx. XD
