Anime North!!

As promised, a post recapping the awesomness~

Okay, so it started off Friday morning at 4:30 when me 'n Mike-uu had to wake up in order to get ready and pick up Lisa, and then get downtown to Concordia (university) in order to make it on time for the bus since we registered via the school's anime club. Thus... group voyage to Toronto (or rather, Etobicoke or whatever it actually is). BAWWH. THE SMELL. AND THE LOUDNESS. I CANT TAKE THAT SO FEKKIN EARLY IN THE MORNING. MMMMMPH.

Yeah we're not a fan of them. And we're pretty sure their leader was hitting on me or something... Mmph. No fankuu. Noooo fankuu. Since it was just the three of us it wound up that I had to sit with someone else, but luckily she was a petite, quiet asian girl who basically just slept the entire way. Hurray!

So, 6-7 hours later we finally got there, and unlike last year we didn't have wait an hour in line to get our room at the DoubleTree.

Then after throwing everything in our room, we got changed into our cosplay (me as Link, Mike-uu and Lisa as Kyon and Haruhi) and went to registration. It took a LONG time to actually GET there because people kept stopping us for pics. I had already lost count by the time we got to where we had to go. @__@

Okay so, registration. Then weapons check, since I had my massive wicked cool sword and uber-awesome shield. UNFORTUNATELY since my sword was REAL I had to put it back in our room, boo... I suppose we should have actually read the weapons guidelines... >__> at least I still had my sheath for it, and my shield... So basically for all the pics I just pretended to be reaching for my invisible sword... until I got one of those cocktail ones when we went to Boston Pizza later that night. :D

Um so after some wandering of the Dealer's Room and Artist Alley we went to eat (B. Pizza) and... did stuff. I forget. x__x

SATURDAY. Dealer's Room. Artist Alley. Met up with one of my friends from Desert Eco who had a table there, and she gave me a free Pit poster, yay!! OH YEAH and there was a LoZ photoshoot so I took part in that... and omg DARK LINKs!!! Eee~ <3 There were several Links, a Linebeck, Navi's (they actually pestered me the day before and apparently I was 'their first Link' lmao so they centered their attention on me whenever I was near...) OH AND SKULL KID. OMFG. AWESOME SKULL KID. EEEEE. And and... Sheik, and Zelda's of course... and... MORE. lol. No Ganondorf though, sadness. ...

So yeah, Dealer's Room. I had a fanboy. and uber fanboy. ... Even his friend kept tugging at him and sighing frustratingly since he wouldn't let me alone x.x lmao and get this; at one point he was like 'don't take this in the wrong way, but you really do look like a boy. I mean, you look exactly like him! You did a really good job! omg!' ... I said I 'll take it as a compliment? lol XD

Okay so he finally left, and we did a bunch of other stuff... and Mike-uu spotted Sheik and Skull Kid First-4 figures (like my FD Link)... and well of course I had to get them >__> So right there I spent 200$. BUT I HAVE 3 of the 4-set!! And I don't want the last one, it's an ugly looking Link (boo...). And I got a grumpy Kyou kitty plush, and an angry Blue Link <3 Lisa got a Tohru outfit, so we decided that I'll be her Kyou next time (being Otakuthon).

Fastfoward to after a disappointing sushi dinner. We met up with mysterious online acqaintance of Mike-uu's, that we had dubbed GayFox (can't let you do that, gayfox... ANYway) since his nickname is Fox... right-o. He had two of his friends with him, and omg we spent the rest of the night hanging out with them and THEY ARE AWESOME. If we lived closer to one another we would be best of friends, SERIOUSLY. Wow, we got along so well. Oi, though one of them, his lesbian friend Terry, kinda took advantage of me in my drunken-ness... Mmph. But that's all cleared up now. x__x

So Mike-uu and Fox hooked up that night... FINALLY a guy who is PERFECT for him. Someone I approve of, 100%. Yay! We all have plans to meet up a few times this summer, and they're coming down for Otakuthon as well. *Dansuudansuu* ^___^

OH RIGHT SO CON. Sunday wasn't very eventful, I bought a Kyou hat with angry eyes, the 6 of us hung out for the majority of the day, Lisa had a major hangover, we wandered... and had to leave at 4:00ish. Back on the Concordia smelly bus. For 7 hours again. Bawwh.

Then back at home at midnight-ish. Le boo. It all went by oh-too-fast. Again. >__<

But this time we made great new awesome friends! :DDDD

And that is all. I may be forgetting something... But. Meh x__x
