Not to Mock Anyone’s Personal Beliefs or Anything (Proud Representative of the Culture of Death)

What is Generation Life? “Generation Life is a youth movement of students, activists, teachers, professionals, and artists committed to ending the horror of abortion, proclaiming the message of sexual purity to their peers, and ushering in Biblical revolution to the next generation. Its source, fuel and fire is the same as that of all creation - the one and only Triune God.”

“God is calling Generation Life to confront pop culture, the media, public institutions, elected officials, and the entire "culture of death" with the pro-life and chastity message”
Does God ever ask anyone to just get milk? Or, you know, pick up his mail? Does God always have to tell people to start crusades?

I’m really intrigued by their definition of “Culture of Death” which, if you check their links, includes Planned Parenthood, the Feminist Majority Foundation, and MTV.

I shall take this opportunity to apologize to any readers who are committed to ending the horror of abortion, proclaiming the message of sexual purity (I prefer the message of being purely sexual, but that’s just me,) and ushering in the Biblical (reactionary) revolution to the next generation. I just like to believe our Culture of Death is built on the idea that I'm (or anyone else is) allowed to make mistakes, or make morally questionable judgments, and not have to have some overweight woman from Kansas telling me it’s making the baby Jesus cry. Then again, when this entire planet is vaporized by divine wrath in the year 2000, I’ll sure seem stupid won’t I?

I became aware of this particular group reading an article in Yahoo news, about the upcoming movie on sexologist Alfred Kinsey (entitled Kinsey, oddly enough,) making a statement, and I’m quoting here: “…exactly how America was transformed in five decades from the "Leave it to Beaver" innocence of the 1950s to today's wanton, "anything-goes" sexual anarchy.” Clearly this group’s idea of serious political issues is my idea of hilarious social satire.

I have a lot of depressing existentialist fiction to read this weekend (finishing Nausea, starting The Fall.) Also I should have a package waiting for me at the Post Office, so odds are I’ll get nothing done. Nothing!
