bah
another day of spring break spent with amanda. we took another trip to the river... it was lovely, as usual. it's the only somewhat natural setting that we find a common beauty in... though i would prefer to be in the middle of nowhere, i think the buildings downtown make her feel more safe. that's fine with me. the ducks are like a soap opera.
we also played the "amanda drives into bumble fuck and lea tries to navigate back to rockford" game. lol. last time we did it, i used the sun for navigation but it was dark so i had to use the stars. that sounds so uber... native american of me. lol. but it worked. a special shout out to Orion and his belt. props, bro.
we topped off the evening with some really hardcore dancing in a parking lot to beenie man's song King Of The Dancehall. it was lovely... some people made fun of me, but i don't care. it was a blast and they were jealous... haha.
as for life in general, i have few complaints, so that's good. i'm picking up italian again. i started learning a while ago and then kind of stopped because i didn't have time... now i'm back on the bandwagon... it's a pretty easy language, especially with a few years of spanish under your belt.
