Rideau... I mean Ottawa U day
Today started off as a day at Ottawa U to learn about they're mechanical engineering. I got there around 7:55, cause that was when my parents could drop me off. Met up with Andrew and Pauline, and spent some time wandering around the campus with them before going back to the parking lot where we got our info sheets to see if Amanda was there yet. Found her, or more like she found us, and then started to go off on the lectures on the different courses.
We all went to the first one about general sciences, but after that I split off to go look at the mechanical engineering stuff. So walked with Andrew M. to the engineering building. Listened to some prof with a giant beard cut in a semicircle around his whole lower half of his face talk about what mechanical engineering was, then went and looked at the labs. Then went back for a look at the playing with fire lecture. He basically played with fire and explained what he was doing. Was kinda cool, but then Amanda came in and said that her Andrew and Pauline were waiting outside, and it had turned into just talk so I left.
We went to get me a free lunch but they were out!!:@ Cheap bastards!! So we went to rideau to buy me a lunch at A&W, yeah 5 bucks for 2 papa burgers. We spent the rest of the day around Rideau, in bubblicity (where the waiter said "so your all lovers" when we split a taramizu four ways, after splitting our drinks two ways), and just everywhere around rideau. We ended up on the roof park at the end before we headed home.
Once at home me and Amanda eventually, and finally, rented The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It is awesome and blows the mind. Just don't expect it to follow the book exactly.
