I will definitely read this but I must say, before I even begin, that this is the first time I've seen such a hefty explanation accompanying a fic. And it entices me.

Weeeeeeell the story in and of itself can be a little confusing because it was written in different chunks and concerning different parts of history, plus I'm sure most readers would have similar concerns/questions regarding certain things so the explanation really is necessary.

All right! Let me stretch my fingers.

Point the first: AHAHA uh yeah I have confirmed that I am insane and I shouldn't be allowed to live. But I'm going to anyway. Damn it.

Second: Oho well, technically, there's a simple formula for determining that. 1. What is Austria's true intention? 2. Everything he says towards that goal is a lie. That whole "Love is a joke" thing... half-lie. There's a great deal of truth in his lies, he just over-emphasises the 'lie' part to achieve his ends. Honestly though, most of the lying is done towards the end of chapter 3 (or, most of the important lying). Austria doesn't really want to be horrible to Spain but he's very good at assuming political roles.

And... interesting comment on this one. XD

The first sex scene wasn't detachment. They were very into it. Spain didn't want to be with Austria because he did not have true confirmation of either of their feelings, so he was repressing himself to be around Austria. Once it finally sinks in for both of them that Spain is physically if not romantically ( ... )

Me not knowing where the truth ends and the lies begin just means that Austria is very good at what he does. And you are good at writing him!

I see now. I mentioned it because I just wouldn't have imagined Austria biting, especially since he's Mr. aristocrat, but of course there's no telling whether that's all a lie too.

I like to chalk it up to youthful enthusiasm. He's a ball of hormones at that age, after all. XD
