a death in the family
i officially sold and handed over the title for my 1994 toyota 4runner today. it's been sitting at my work's parking lot since, like, february, with a dead engine.
i bought it for $9000 on june 23, 2004 (according to the title) from toyota of tacoma in washington. it had just over 107k miles and died with 153k miles. i posted an ad for it on craigslist on july 19th for $1200 and got a handful of responses...including an offer for $300. i sold it to a guy i know through my job for $750.
tis a mournful loss, for sure. i miss having a truck. it stinks not having enough room with a compact car. i still dont know how i'm going to haul my drums or my guitar half stack. oh well, i guess $400 for a fuel efficient vehicle isnt too bad.
