(no subject)
so i had this customer come into my store today... a mother and about a 12 year old son. they were buying cabinet knobs. they said they had 18 of one kind and 16 of another. i start counting them out and making sure they're all the same when the mother pipes up,
"did i get it right?"
i say, "yes"
"well, that's pretty good for just having two beers! haha"
and then the fat little kid pipes up and says, "two beers? that's 32 ounces, right?"
"why, yes, that's right"
"that's a lotta beer! ...that's even more beers than what dad can drink! no, wait... i've seen him drink, like, 5 beers at a time..."
the look on moms' face is priceless. the kid just wont stop. now i'm a pretty well self-contained guy, but i was struggling to keep from breaking my professional smile.
just thought i'd share.
