Thought I'd babble about my current knitting project. I'M SO INTERESTING.



This is three parts to a short cardigan for my mom. I still have to do the sleeves, sew it all together and finally edge, but I'm debating whether I should block it now or block it when it's all together. Now makes the most sense- can you even block cotton? edit: Yes you can, with an iron, apparently. Okay then!

I'm pretty proud of this, actually. there are some fudge-ups in there, and I'm still trying to figure out how to make the edges of my decreases look less like disasters, but the decreases are going to be sewn together; it's not like it's gonna matter.

Yarn is Lily's Sugar'n'Cream 100% cotton in Country Blue. At $1.50 a skein, the entire project comes to around $8 in total. C:
