I wrote up this somewhat of a quick biography of myself for (I hate saying this) my myspace.
The Gamer/The Otaku
I think I have 3 different sides to me. There is the gamer, the otaku, and the drifter/car enthusiast. I have been into to video games and cars since I was little. I had a huge box of Hot Wheels and then I had my SNES. I basically grew up on those two interests for a while till I moved from San Francisco. When I moved into Vallejo things had changed; cable, internet, I could finally jump up and down without the land lord banging back at the roof. From then on I discovered anime (this was just about when the whole Japan thing got started). I couldn't get enough of Pokemon, Dragon Ball, Tenchi Muyo; it was all too good. As the wheel of time kept turning the more anime I found new stuff like Gundam, Kenshin, and other stuff. Through anime I started to get deeper and deeper into Japanese culture like studying the history and learning the language. from there, since I had already been into cars, I got myself into a import car craze...It's hard to believe but I used to actually want a Honda civic with a huge wing and ineffective body kit. Yes it's true a nearly became a "ricer" but then a certain magazine saved me. I was reading Modified Magazine and I realized this beautiful thing called JDM (Japanese domestic market). It was a certain type of car styling that looked really clean, but wasn’t so crazy (like huge wings and generic plastic body kits). It was parts that worked and looked good…from there on I fell in love with drifting…
The Drifter

Now enter the drifter side of myself, I have been into drifting since late 1999 to this present day and I’m loving it. I have my own dori machine; 1987 RX-7…it’s a work in progress, I probably get nicer car for driving around town and stuff later, but for now the RX7 is what I got. So I hope to start taking it out to some local events getting better and better hopefully going pro, while having a nice job on the side to pay for expenses, bills, and other stuff.
