(no subject)
Hello new readers! This post is directed at those of you who found your way here from this ain't livin', rather than my existing LiveJournal friends [though I LOVE YOU ALL]. Basically, I thought that since I might be seeing a bump in traffic, I should tell y'all a bit about myself and my blog.
So, me. I'm Dorian. Pleased to meet you! I'm an eighteen-year-old, queer-identified, primarily-male-identified Canadian university student. I've been interested in anti-oppression stuff for about two years now, but I'm still basically a novice in many, many ways. So I screw up! Probably often. But when I do, I pick myself back up and start over, which is something.
My blog was started about four-and-a-half years ago, but you are not going to see any of those posts. Because they are terrible. I started doing a bit of anti-oppression blogging a couple of months ago, I think? It seemed like a logical extension/fusion of my interests. I am THRILLED that you've found your way here, and I sincerely hope you like what you see.
One last thing. Comment policy! I welcome and encourage comments. I'm serious! Comment! But I'm going to try to be a bit strict when it comes to derogatory language. If I see problems starting to form, I'm going to comment screen. But I'm going to leave them open for now, wait and see how it goes.
