Wow.

This is an interview with Malalai Joya. She's an Afghani activist, who has been the target of multiple assassination attempts because of her outspoken advocacy for women's rights.

It's really, really intense. I'd never heard of her before, but now I kind of think she's totally amazing. You really, really should read it.

ETA: This might be the best Tiger Beatdown Post I've read. And as you know [because I link to her ALL THE TIME], I read a lot of REALLY GOOD Tiger Beatdown posts. Putting it here rather than in a separate post of my own because you really don't need to see two Linking Time posts only four hours apart, do you? But read it, it's really good.
