[Dorian's house]
[Saturday, June 2nd]
FLASHBACK

There's so much to do, it's a wonder I've done anything at all. I do the dishes, put the chicken in the refrigerator to thaw, give the house a once over, run down to the cellar to fetch a bottle of wine, make it back up with one and a half, settle a few accounts, toss a few more stacks of paper into my drawer to get them out of the way... And in all of that, absolutely every moment, I think that I really should talk to Glass soon. After just one more thing, I really should see to that.

It takes a considerable amount of willpower to decide that soon is now. I put the kettle on to boil, walk over to Glass's apartment, and leave a note under the door, because I've left the kettle on and can't possibly stay to talk right now. When I make it back home, I don't even bother with the tea. I decide on a bath instead, with a bit more of the wine and a cigarette.

I really have no idea what I've gotten myself into. Glass and Kate and feelings and talks about said feelings... And, loon that I am, I'm still fucking grinning about it.
