I sit at my parents home on this lovely Sunday evening, feeling content and lazy, and strangely okay with the impending threat of my mother's arrival and yet still I feel that today was a good day.
I woke up late, and made this rice and chicken nugget thingy type lunch, and I don't think I could re-create the monstrosity that this food morphed into. (I was hungry so I ate it anyway- Cinnamon ate very well also. I think she's the only one that actually looks forward to me cooking anymore.)
I did some laundry, avoided another "get together" with my ex- boo and got caught up on my "Quality TV". I watched the "I Love New York- Reunion Show" and I laughed so hard I cried. That's right, I think she got what she deserved and let me be the first to say that either, White Boy, Tango, Chance and or possibly Real will have their own show very very soon. Hell, maybe even New York's Mama will have her own show! But in all honesty New York is probably going to get another season... seeing how things ended on the reunion show.
I also was able to watch and get addicted to the new VH1 show, Charm School with the Flavor of Love Rejects, hosted by Mo'nique. (Big Big up's to Tiffany for recommending that I take the time to look into it.) This show has the promises to be the best spin off reality competition show YET. It's got the mean judge, the very different competitor's with different looks, back grounds, styles and attitudes. But most of all it's got the drama and the comedy factor all rolled in with reality all in one place.
I also checked into Run's House. That show is nothing but good clean fun and my heart and prayers go out to them with their loss. (That show is entertainment and it's classy and it's a family show. It's not like the other show's I'm endorsing.)
I also have fallen into CMT- that's right, Country Music TV's The search for the Ultimate Coyaote Ugly. It's alright if you've got the time and don't mind the music. It was super entertaining while they were going through the auditions. We'll see now that they are entering the competition.
I also saw the last 5 minutes of The UGLIEST DOG EVER competition. No more comment needed.
I also ready Gypsy's journal entries. They were very profound but at this point in my weekend, I am simply not able to have an intelligent conversation and or ask questions to clarify some of the points made. At this point, I am enjoying cable and all that it has to offer.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I also hope that you have a wonderful week.
