that's right kids, today is the birthday of mohammad. celebrate.
SO i'm finished with my week as a peace corps volunteer. and it was really wonderful. my village was truly awesome. oh man

anyone know anything about hostels in france? travel in france? like the alps and mont st michael? i'm planning a trip after this to go check them out ...but i don't have enough time on the internet to truly research and find good cheap places not far from train stops. anyone?
HIGHLIGHTS:
-i went skinny dipping in a river in west africa
-bareback horse ridding (butt is recovering still)
-i love wolof. french, it's okay. wolof is where it's at
-Peace corps isn't for me. but something like peace corps is for me
-i drew water from a well
-i drank curdled milk with sugar. got a little sick, but "embraced the culture" in the words of my volunteer...

i kinda want to take a french 500 class. kim? but i don't know which one. and it really makes me nervous. ahhh. hehe seriously my french isn't that much better.
ALSO: i want to write an article for the DM...but i don't know what to write about. is there anything you've ever heard about senegal or west africa that might be of interest to ole miss...or that i could add perspective to? or do you just want an article about my experiences? i wish there was something of interest that i know about in senegal...
