(no subject)
Since I left Roche Bros, I've had some time to kick back, relax, and engage in an extensive job hunt. I submitted my resume to one place yesterday afternoon around 3pm, and at 7pm I got a phone call from the HR manager! I had the interview today, and surprisingly, the job is LITERALLY right across the street from the apartment I want to move into! I'm so excited! I don't want to be too excited, though because sometimes things fall through...but it's hard not to be!
The job is a customer service position, it pays a lot more than it should, there is a laid back, family-type atmosphere, and the benefits are unbelievable. It seems like an answer to months of prayer. I should hear back from them in a week or less. I have wonderful friends and family who are praying for me!
Tomorrow should be fun...some friends and I are heading up to the outlet stores to do some holiday and winter clothes shopping. I'm looking forward to busting in to Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole, and Calvin Klein. I got some great deals last time.
My bronchitis is almost gone, but my insomnia is back, I'm afraid. For example, it's almost 2am, and here I am writing in my online journal. My head is spinning, I'm rather dizzy, but going to sleep seems out of the question. I really need to work on that.
I finally cracked and bought the book, "He's Just Not That Into You". I'm so excited to start it. I'm over the Crush, thankfully, butI think it will help me with future interests. I also bought 6 cds on learning Spanish, because my conversational Spanish stinks. I can read it and write it quite well, but trying to speak it is rather embarrassing. The book says it can be done in ten days, but we'll see about that.
Well, off I go...possibly to bed soon...
