Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Romans 14:4
So your religion tells you sex with someone who shares the same genitalia as you is wrong. Okay, fair enough. Don't practice it. And so therefore, don't marry someone of the same gender as you. I get that. I even get a church saying they won't marry someone of the same gender, as their religion says no. Fab. More power to you. But tell me? When did you get to become your god?
You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written:
" 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' " So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:10-12
So if we all get to stand before God one day, and it turns out that you are right and it's a sin to be with someone of the same gender, well then, that's between God and that person, isn't it? What will your God say when you stand there in front him at the end of the day? "Good job keeping those people from loving one another! You sure told them!" No, I don't think so. I'm more inclined to think he may say something like:
So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. Romans 14:22
So in other words? Butt out.
Amen.
