Yea!!! We're reaping the fruits of our labor from our garden!!! We're getting some pretty huge zucchini, lots of cherry tomatoes, a few cucumbers, a couple of green peppers, and our corn on the cob is growing too!! The kids are excited. They're actually eating raw zucchini because they grew it. David just LOVES cherry tomatoes. Our regular tomatoes have a ways to go yet...
Now we just need Paul to make the garden box bigger for next year! I'm sure he'll be all smiles about that.
Found out Andrew has 25 kids in his KG class this year. :( They'll probably gain another student or two before school starts on Wednesday. I guess they've hired an aide to help out in the KG classes. The problem is that one of the KG classes has been made into a full-day. So intuitively they hired someone to teach a half day to make up for the half day section lost. Good idea, however, there are more kids than usual entering KG and they can't have the new teacher hired for one section start teaching 2 sections (am and pm) because she's already committed to the reading recovery program at Aboite. I think that is a LOT of KG kids for one room and one teacher!! But I think they're stuck now.
