I was watching Fahrenheit 9/11 this morning and I noticed something. Right after the part where Moore's reading the Patriot Act, it shows Bush in a restaurant asking to take someone's order. And I've been to that restaurant. It's in this little piss-ant town called Bandera. They don't even pave their parking lots. They've got like 2 stop lights. It's about 45 min to an hour from here. That restaurant's not even very good. It's ok, but Charlie's Chicken was better. They had great fried zucchini, but it closed. But this place is a bbq place, and I hate how it's decorated. It's got that dead cow=Texan theme going on, and I don't like that. I don't know what Bush was doing in Bandera. It's such a small town, and it's in Texas, so why would he have gone? It was going to go Republican even if he didn't go. And it's full of drunk bikers. I don't have anything against bikers (they're really polite generally), but I really don't like drunks. Most of the businesses are bars. I was doing a show at one of the bars, and this drunk guy came in on a horse. Almost took out my damn cords. I really just don't like Bandera. Everyone's drunk, gravel and bugs are everywhere, everything's expensive (b/c no competition), and the people that live there are these rich, rude hicks who do things like vote for Bush and are homophobes. Bandera really is the shittiest place I've been in my life.
