Am I too old for JACON?
My mother asked me why I was going to JACON this year. She thinks i'm too old for it, and to an extent I agree with her. I'm about to turn 20. A 20 year old at an Anime convention?
So I thought about it for awhile, and of course i'm still going. It's about all of the memories i've made running around from video room to video room, telling myself over and over "This year's the year I don't spend all of my money", Lawlsrofl.
It's about sitting up late at night in someone's hotel room, running up and down the hallways, trying to sneak into the pool past closing. Good times.
To say that i'm too 'old' for JACON, that i've 'grown out of it' seems a bit silly to me. Eventually i'll grow out of it, but not because I feel like I should have already, but because it just happened. So bring on Neku-Neku-Chan and AMV's, i'm ready.
It's going to be an awesome JACON this year, i'm psyched.
(EDIT: I wonder if Neku-Neku-Chan actually still goes to conventions?)
