Shitsuren Chocolatier episode 5
Saeko is sleeping in some car. Huh? Wait? What did i miss? Guy wakes her up. It is Souta saying it is about time. Umm, ok. They get out of the car and get to the fence. The view is amazing! Seriously i want to be there! Sun starts rising and Souta shares that he loves sunrise from that spot and wanted to share it with Saeko. She is trilled calling it best birthday present ever. He wishes her happy birthday and they share a kiss... Olivier asks if it is Saekos' birthday returning Souta to reality. And Olivier knows about birthday cause Souta just hugged air wishing it: Saeko-san happy birthday! Olivier admires Soutas' new chocolates saying they look like sunrise. Which prompts Souta to ask if he said that too. He didn't but tells Olivier how wonderful it would be to go with Saeko. And catch a cold cause, in his fantasy, she would bring home made soup. Lol! This time it is Kaeruko to drag him back to real world calling him fool. Watching sunrise in winter would be annoying and girl will spend birthday with her husband. So shut mouth and work! She takes chocolates and walks out. Souta comments on her bad mood and both agree they should work while Kaeruko slaps every door she can.
Saekos' husband will not be home for her birthday though he promised they will go out with friends. Enter reality! Souta packs it all and before he can ask her anything Saeko says goodbye. But after few steps, she turns asking if he can make birthday cake. He nods like little kid and right away writes recipe. She looks few seconds at him without words but with sadness and says goodbye.
Erena is so happy for Sputa that he will be making cake for his crush but feels that he wants to celebrate with Saeko. Kaeruko thinks Butterfly is off with season but Souta delivers all story he made: This butterfly liked chocolate so much that it waited every day fr it. Winter came and it died. Souta knows pain is not really for occasion but thinks that if even this little feelings get trough Saeko, he is fine with it. Kaeruko agrees too, cake is nice and she will like it. Later, in her apartment, Souta asks why she went. Did shooting went good? How was with Kurashina-san? It was fiasco, she couldn't behave like herself. Souta

He doesn't even dream how close he is for Saeko is sitting till 1am waiting ofr her husband and finally goes to sleep. Later hears her husband yelling her name and goes out to find him drunk. He starts harassing her about turning lights off when he is still not home and when she says it is waste of energy to keep them on, he mocks that she is not one paying them. She finally bursts that she will keep them on then before turning to go to sleep but he grabs her arm to whirl her back. She falls banging her head on furniture! Iiiiiikkkk! At least he has decency to look worried.
Next day, Souta is waiting whole day. It is almost 8 and he is totally disheartened. Someone enters handing recipe and Souta is shocked to see it is for Saekos' cake. Husband came for it. He blabbers on but Souta in his head replays all the things Saeko said about her husband. Guy excuses Saeko saying she couldn't come because of personal matters. With heavy heart, Souta hands cake to husband and before he can go out, Souta stops him to send regards for her birthday. As smile fades, Souta thinks how this must be lesson from God. Reality. She takes her phone and contemplates calling Souta before deciding to click on his name. Alas, he is so busy running trough town to go to Erena that he doesn't notice his phone...

All in all we saw little moving forward except for Erena. It is normal considering that only 7 volumes are written till now and last one was used in episode 4. They tangled everything pretty much and i think now is time to try and resolve stories one by one.
