Senryokugai Sousakan episode 3
Aw, so cute! I really like this series!
The thing is that in some series where romance is not important, they tend to make one of the lead character really obviously boring. Here, Shitara is not as smart as Chinami but he sure as hell knows how to use his brain to ask right questions and can push her investigation in right direction. Not to mention that he is The Body in the group. I mean, The Muscle! I honestly ment The Muscle!
Not just him, Kitazato also did good job in helping out while Futaba surprised me with acknowledging her silently, without need to pee on his "Ace of squad" throne while yelling that this is his unit. Quite lovely characters. Even Unit Chef Kawahagi did his share of protecting her, albeit reluctantly and because he needed to protect himself too but i feel that he is better man than Inoue and Kobayakawa.
The thing most of people don't understand is why is necessary for Chinami to not be let in the field. I think that at the beginning it was because she is careerist, which would say she is destined for higher positions where she doesn't require much field work(that is why they were all surprised that she is assigned there) aka brain person who will spend life behind desk giving important orders. That means she has power and knowledge to question their methods and since she is high in rank she can do so. Her meddling can be seen as bother to police squad who spent their time on street(i bet most of them started in police box). Not to neglect that if she does work for them they, as people with much more experience, will seem incompetent. Also since she is career person she may get Police Chef Kobayakawas' or Inoues' job.
But enough of gloomy things since this series is so fun to watch! Shitara coming to rescue was so swoony! I so like that they are already such buddies so that she feels she needs to avenge him. Cute! Kitazato smiling when she grabbed his arm to play couple made me think that in next episode he will be the one to be asked if he likes Chinami. She obviously doesn't like him back but her parents will be hilarious with all "boyfriend" thing. I missed "riddle of the day". Also, those little acting thingies Chinami and Shitaro have every episode, could we keep them till the end? Those are awesomely funny! And i think even Chinami starts to like them.
