Starman episode 10
Sawa calls Hoshios' name and he did turn. Phew! He smiles sweetly and says he will be right back, after all they were in the middle of fight. Aww! Newer been so glad someone is fighting. Ando is standing in the middle of the street wondering wtf is happening when UFOShoko zooms past him. She runs off the road and stops in the clear not budging when And screams her name. She looks at the light and her eyes glow. Shigeta-san hugs his wife who is crying and tells her he will be out for a while. She sobs that he is lying but he tells her that when he came to Earth he had fiancee on his planet so he wants to convey his apology, but he will definitely come back to her. She holds him close while crying and when they break apart he smiles sweetly before raising arms to the heaven. Forest trio and Setsu are also out. Leader grabs her to make her safe but she pushes him to the ground and raises her hands ready to be taken. HA! UFOShokos' feet detach from the ground and ship drags her but not before she smiles on Ando whos' been calling her name. Seeing her happy makes him stop. Suddenly as it appeared ship disappears, leaving Shigeta-san to try talking to his angry wife who urges everyone in the house and locks the door before Shigeta-sans' nose. Hee! And confused Hoshio. Granny takes kids in the house while Hoshio pouts to Sawa how uncool this is. She laughs saying that she is happy and then drags him
in the house to save him from mosquitoes. It sure puts big smile on my face!
We fast forward 2 months as Sawa busyly makes breakfast with Granny and then wakes boys up before ordering guys to get up! Two guys are up in an instant. It appears Shigeta-san is living with them since his wife refuses to let him in the house. Lol! At the supermarket Ando is still not over UFOShoko and cries that he will become spaceman. Shigeta-san crushes his dreams by saying that earth people don't have so advanced equipment to reach her planet. Poor puppy! Hoshio is working in the forest and guys admit thinking him awesome for being so young and settling woman with 3 children. On his way back home he sees Dai and Hide and stops by. They talk about baseball and Hide wants to at least hit the ball out of the field. They practice and Hoshio instructs him to relax. Suddenly he hears something and seems trilled. He asks boys to go home first and runs off. Sawa left work so he rushes back home and on the way meets Setsu who wants to know what news he is bearing. He wants to share it with Sawa first and she is left pedaling behind him in her attempt to cone to Uno home as soon as possible. Hoshio comes just when Sawa arrived with little Shune has. And Dai and Hide are right behind. But she can't talk now cause little guy needs to use toilet. Guys enter and there are Granny and Shigeta-san preparing food. They look quite friendly. Too friendly for Doctor, who just came in and is desperate to see them so cozy. Shigeta-san right away clears misunderstanding telling that he has wife who he loves for past 40 years. He is so into it till Dai notices wife crying while looking trough window. She pushes past Doctor, who ends up in Hoshios' embrace (lol), and hugs his dear Shigeta. They all tear up, except Hoshio who is feeling awkward holding Doctor. HA! he finally wants to say when Setsu barges in asking for water. I would have felt bad for him if situation wasn't so funny. Setsu asks if he told secret and is trilled he didn't. In her bar Forest trio wonders why she is not there and comment how it feels like they are extras in some drama. Hee! But Leader refuses to think like that saying that they are all leaders in their life dramas. This coming from side character is hilarious! Love it! In Uno Home they all gathered in living room and Hoshio makes announcemen: He congratulates Sawa on bearing their child! They embrace! Awww! Cute!!! Sawa goes to the doctor and on her way back has to go on baseball game. It is Dais' turn and as promised he hits homerun! But after that is Hide and boy is scared. His first two are not good and Hoshio, who is down by playground is cheering on him. Sawa comes to watch and Hoshio smiles on her. Hide manages to hit the ball but it is going right towards Sawa. Hoshio jumps right in front to catch it. Phew! But then looses his step and stumbles down! Oh, my, oh my! Sawa screams and starts coming down when twists her ankle and she also takes a fall! OHMYOHMYOHMY! Hyperventilating! Hoshio nods boys not to come and drags to Sawa who is moaning in pain. It is last episode, don't make me nervous!! She remembers again what Shigetas'wife told her and wants to prevent Hoshio from doing anything. He gives her his smile and says that is what father should do. Then he does his glowing thing and she is ok. But he collapses beside her. Hoshio manages to gather strength and encourages Hide. Boy is standing and when reaches to wipe his tears, ball flies his way so he instinctively hits her and she goes into homerun section! AWWWW! He is so happy! Then again at home they are all sitting around Hoshio who is lifeless. Then doctor sadly shakes his head and Sawa cries. She cant take it and moves to the hallway with her two boys coming to comfort her. Shigeta-san sits by when Hoshio opens his eyes. Shigeta shows him to close them but Setsu sees it. Shigeta-san tries to deliver the news slower but she is so crying so bad that Hoshio just opens his eyes and calls her name. She is shell shocked but takes the pillow and trows it at Doctor. HA! With huge grin on her face she back hugs Hoshio so tight. I am melting!

Just then message appears saying: Wait for me i will come back. Shoko! He is out of his mind from happiness and even additional message saying that she might take her time considering she is 30000 yearmiles away, doesn't bother him. Shigeta-san and his wife are flirting/bickering behind table and it attracts awkward looks from rest of the family. Though they just want natto. Lol! Looks like Leader is actively helping Setsu behind bar and she asks him on the date. Finally!!! In Uno family, they have one more adorable family member. Sawa looks happy while Hoshio looks relaxed in his father role. All is well!
Ahhh! Happy ending in the air! Nothing is better than this! And one more drama marked on my "to watch" list. I thoroughly enjoyed its fast pace and fluffy cuteness, and the fact that it doesn't try to be something that it is not! I mean we are not fools and do realize this is for entertaining only, but the way drama makes jokes on its' own account is awesome!
First things first: cute is back!!! And right on time. I admit that angst is necessary but cute is the strongest point of this show. Now only thing that irritates me was UFOShoko sending message to Ando. This girl is awful and remains so till the end.
Nicer topics, Shigeta-san and his wife were adorable! From hug at the beginning till looking and smiling at the end. It surprised me because till now i was interested in them just for the fact that they are showing our couple they can choose to be together. But then i caught myself teary eyed when she hugged him thinking he will not return. Sweet!
Our main couple remains my favorite. Sawas' cheerfulness and Hoshios calm ways make them perfect for eachother. From first episode Hirosue Ryoko and Fukushi Sota looked really comfortable around eachother which made their sparkling blocked only by Hoshio constantly being confused by who he is. Not his fault hough. But they were adorable around eachother and left me greedy for more every time.
I can't finish without mentioning awesome Granny and 3 cute kids. Though Granny kind ow lost much of her purpose around episode 8 she was awesome from the start when she gave Sawas' story details and brought it to life, till when she made Doctor not go to resign. Dai, little man-child was much better than i supposed. He backed up his family whenever he could and even when he did what every tv teenager does, run from home, he returned on his own because he realized how stupid it is. More that that, this briliant boy had point in everything he said. And no matter how much he frown we still love him cause he is good boy who had to grown up ahead of his time. Hide, little insecure kiddo, being behind his brother might be tough for him so when he announced how he likes Hoshio no matter that his older bro doesn't, i felt so good for him. Shun melted the screen everytime he was on it. Period.
One more thing, if i was Sawa i would made Hoshio wear dark purple, dark blue and black all the time. Seriously my eyes were about to pop out from hotness in that last scene!
